Rugged, it's the word that seems to describe the last few days. Her body is so very weary. A few hours of peacefulness are gifts and very rare. Sobering and soulful, it's hard to find words to write about this time. Dan gathered friends tonight to pray in her room. Elders who love her along with other friends once again cried out on her behalf. She will know more tomorrow what the next medical step will be. It will likely involve a transfer to Duke in the coming days.
Please continue to pray for her, for her parents who are in town with her and for her family who love her deeply. Pray that He will give peace, wisdom and faith every day to each of us.
